Since 2015, RISE is our structured response to reduce suffering at its source. Vatika Animal Sanctuary has operated across four integrated programmes — each addressing a different dimension of animal welfare in Chhattisgarh. Together, they form a complete cycle of care: emergency street rescue, medical intervention, population control through sterilization, and community education.

Rabies Detection & ABC
Preventing disease. Controlling population. Humanely.
Large-scale Animal Birth Control (ABC) sterilisation camps and rabies vaccination drives — the first of their kind in Chhattisgarh. We partner with government bodies, CRPF camps, and municipalities to run structured programmes that reduce stray populations and disease transmission.

Our makeshift but capable facility houses 450+ resident animals — from paralysed dogs in wheelchairs to rescued camels and cattle. Our vet team performs surgeries, wound management, and long-term rehabilitation on-site every single day.
