Do's & Don'ts at the Scene
Your safety comes first. Here's how to help without putting yourself or the animal at greater risk.
Do's
- Stay calm — panicked movements scare injured animals
- Note the precise location (street, landmark, Maps pin)
- Take a photo or video from a safe distance
- Call us immediately: 7225888800
- Keep bystanders away to reduce stress
- Stay nearby until our team arrives if safe
- Offer water only if the animal is conscious and calm
Don'ts
- Don't try to move a seriously injured animal alone
- Don't force-feed food or medicine
- Don't cover or confine the animal unless trained to do so
- Don't approach a frightened or aggressive animal
- Don't delay calling — every minute counts
- Don't attempt to treat fractures or deep wounds yourself
- Don't leave without calling us first
