Your Experience

What to Expect
When You Arrive

Vatika Animal Sanctuary is home to 450+ resident animals — dogs, cats, cows, camels, horses, and more. Every animal here has a story of survival.

Walk through our recovery wards, meet our vet team at work, and hear first-hand accounts from our caregivers about the rescues that brought these animals to safety.

It is a raw, honest, and deeply moving experience — one that often inspires visitors to become donors, volunteers, or long-term supporters.

  • Free entry — open to all
  • No prior booking needed for individual visits
  • Photography warmly welcomed
  • Guided tours available for groups (call ahead)
  • Volunteer & donation opportunities on-site

Visit FAQs

Everything you need before you arrive.

Yes. There is free parking space available near the sanctuary entrance for cars and two-wheelers.

Yes — children are welcome. We prefer children above 10 years to go inside for kennel rounds; younger children can see the animals from a distance. Please note that we take no responsibility for allergies or infections, and we leave it to parents to decide whether they are comfortable with their children entering the animal area.

We appreciate the gesture! Please call us in advance so we can guide you on what is safe and appropriate for our resident animals. Do not bring food unannounced as some animals have specific dietary and medical requirements.

We do facilitate adoptions for eligible animals. Speak with our staff during your visit or contact us via phone or email to begin the adoption screening process.

Yes, entry to the sanctuary is completely free. If you feel moved to contribute, donations are always welcome and go directly toward animal care.
