We are Vatika Animal Sanctuary, situated in Chandkhuri Village, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. Our sanctuary is a haven for the most vulnerable and special-needs animals, providing care and treatment to over 2000 injured animals, including those paralyzed, injured in accidents, and with traumatic histories, offering them a second chance at life.

INITIATIVE 2013
Launched local Stray Animal Rescue initiative alongside friends, driven by compassion for animals in need.
INTERVENTION 2014
Witnessed Municipality killing and relocating stray dogs. Got it stopped.
ESTABLISHMENT 2015
Formally registered our organization as "People For Animals Society Raipur."
LAND ACQUISTITION 2016
Initiated the process of land acquisition to establish our Animal Shelter.
SHELTER 2017
In the interim, established a makeshift shelter in an unfinished building, prioritizing animal welfare.
DEVELOPMENT 2022
Embarking on the construction of a comprehensive Street Animal Hospital and Shelter.
EXPANSION 2021
Expanded our team and successfully rescued over 8000 strays, extending our reach.
AMBULANCE 2020
Acquired Chhattisgarh's first Street Dog Ambulance to enhance our rescue efforts.
LAND ALLOCATION 2019
Secured land allocation for constructing Chhattisgarh's inaugural Animal Shelter in Chandkhuri village, Raipur.
RELOCATION 2018
Faced local opposition; relocated the shelter to a closed workshop, ensuring animals' safety.
